Which rides would you like to go on?
Lightwater Valley is home to over 40 different rides and attractions
for kids of all ages. From our jaw dropping big thrill rides, to mini
adventures for those junior thrill-seekers amongst you, we really are
the most family fun you can have in a day.
To help you get the most out of your day, our rides and attractions have been divided into three separate groups:
Jaw Droppers
Our jaw dropping rides are some of the most extreme rides you’re ever likely to come across, but please note the minimum height requirements for each ride when planning your visit. We would also like to advise our guests that, if you happen to have a chest measurement in excess of 52”, you may struggle to get our ride harnesses and safety bars to fit correctly on certain rides. Due to strict health and safety regulations, we cannot permit you to ride if our safety bars and harnesses do not ‘lock’ correctly.
Our ‘Whipper Snapping’ rides are specially designed for our thrill-seeking guests who are over one metre in height, but may not yet be tall enough to gain access to our more extreme jaw droppers. Attractions in this category include the falls of terror, the grand prix go karts and the dodgems, though our taller visitors are also welcome on these rides.
For our youngest visitors under one metre in height, our range of rides is just as comprehensive and we have christened these attractions as being suitable for ‘Nippers’. Be warned, however, as parents have been known to find these rides quite a handful …
